HOW IT WORKS
Todo Math is a huge app that uses a variety of activities to help kids practice all sorts of early skills from a variety of angles and approaches. The app is divided into a “Mission” section and a “Free Choice” section. “Mission” gives kids a series of activities to solve that are all connected to a certain theme (word problems, multiplication, etc.). It helps to give the app a more gameified feel, and creates a fun incentive for children to move through all the activities. But kids who’d like to practice one particular skill or want to pick and choose the activities they play can do just that in “Free Choice.”
There are tons of activities included in the app that help children practice writing and conceptualizing numbers, identifying and completing patterns and matrices, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and even telling time. Because the activities teach these concepts in many different ways, the app is a great way to help kids really understand a concept, instead of just memorizing a single way to solve a problem.
On top of all the content, the app is really beautifully designed and has accessibility options for dyslexic or left-handed learners. Parents or teachers can keep track of kids’ progress through multiple profiles.
